Capacity Development NZ was founded by a group of people passionate about the NGO and not for profit sectors and the role they play in the lives of New Zealanders. Our approach to building the capacity of the community sector is based on evidence of good practice. This has evolved from a range of perspectives including, organisational development, good governance, social development, promotion of health and wellbeing and sustainable development for community organisations.
Our aim is to work collaboratively with people, organisations and sectors to support the growth of strong, sustainable and capable teams, structures and systems.
Building collaborative relationships and partnerships is not only how we want to work with others it is also how CDNZ has been developed itself. We have created our foundation partnership with Solutions Ltd, a company which has a track record in the health sector working to support health services with project management, systems development and provision of capacity through a team of experienced people. Solutions is our foundation partnership and we aim to develop more as we evolve.
